The true essence of the artist and the architect are often lost in the stringency of design formulae, ridiculous deadlines and budgets, whereby it seems to take more energy and spirit than it is worth to push through beauty and originality against th epull of mediocrity. The promised exploits of GD in defense of the artisan are critical to the continuity of art and architecture as elements of wonder. We are dreamers who tell the world: "Of course it can be done, and it will blow your mind!" The GD envelops inspiring concepts and shows structured development. Let this building grow and live to both engage and amaze. And enjoy the process of creation. It is what we live for.
